It was a terrific Block Party Sunday and I want to thank everyone that could come for bringing Fantastic Food and great cheer.

I'd love to get the recipes for the all the food that you brought. 

Anyone want to share? 

Bonnie had a great idea...  A community Cook Book.  Send them on to me and we'll pull it together.

Back to School

Hard to believe the kids are back to school but the smell of peanut butter and bananas has permeated our neighborhood once again.  We're close to finishing up the 1st week and our Block Party is just around the corner (or up the hill).

I came across an article that describes a couple of web sites that might interest you.    One site offers College level courses for free.  They can be downloaded to an ipod or computer.

Learn a language online too.  I checked this out and it seems rather interesting.  Again, load 'er up on your device, practice and you may become bi-lingual.  


If anyone has tried these sites please share with us.  The darker days are a commin and we all may want to get ready to expand our minds in the comfort of our homes.
